New paintings after a long Winter
Six months of Winter climbing, camping and sketching
in Scotland has finally given way to Summer. The commission piece I've been working on for the last few months is a forest path scene, which at 1.6m tall, is the second largest painting I've done. I've had to completely censor it as the recipients want it to be a surprise at a grand unveiling. Another month of work should see it nearing completion. The other works underway (but currently on hold) are paintings of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, and the Shelterstone Crag in the Cairngorms. The completed small paintings are of Glen Coe and the Northern Cuillin.
