The Cuillin Mountains - Isle of Skye
Two new paintings of The Cuillin mountains on the Isle of Skye. The first was inspired by the view to Bruach na Frithe from near Sgurr a' Fionn Choire at Sunset. I camped overlooking the Basteir Tooth in an interesting position.
My latest painting just completed, is of the Northern Cuillin group of peaks, viewed from Garbh Bheinn, across Glen Sligachan. I have spent months exploring this beautiful range of island mountains, and I look forward to many more - there are so many future projects scribbled down in my sketchbooks - I just need suitable weather and snow conditions, which is a huge ask for the Isle of Skye.
